Mutant League Records is the home of the debut album from Vancouver pop-punks Chief State, who first came onto the radar with the release of the 2018 EP Nothing More Than This.

Waiting For Your Colours starts out in positive fashion with “Continental Drift,” a buoyant, punctuating opener. Chief State have emerged to the foreground in the emerging pop-punk stakes over the last few years with a combination of character and heart, and the opening minutes signal more of the same, as “Team Wiped” follows suit with a beautifully executed amalgam of high-tempo and soaring hooks, making it an obvious choice for the recent single and video release.
