Universal/Music On Vinyl
180g audiophile vinyl edition with lyrics insert, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the album. Released on vinyl for the very first time! SNOT was founded in 1995 by vocalist Lynn Strait and guitarist Mikey Doling, garnering a fanbase through their performances on the Sunset Strip in L.A. that ensured every show was sold out. After a fierce competition between record labels, SNOT ultimately signed with Geffen.
Their debut album, "Get Some," released in 1997, captivated critics and led the band to tour with OZZY OSBOURNE, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, MEGADETH, PANTERA, TOOL, and many others.
However, as SNOT's career was gaining momentum, a tragedy struck: Lynn Strait, the charismatic frontman of the band, passed away in December 1998 in a car accident, along with his dog Dobbs, who had adorned the cover of "Get Some."
The band never fully recovered from the singer's loss. SNOT's music is a blend of raw rock 'n' roll and funky hardcore/punk rock.
Album highlights include "Snot," "Deadfall," "Joyride," and "The Box." "Get Some" was produced at the time by T-Ray (HELMET, KORN, WHITE ZOMBIE, SANTANA).
