DIGGER BARNES is a singer/songwriter, performer, and bassist, among other things, for Chuck Ragan (HOT WATER MUSIC) and the REVIVAL TOURS back in the day. Barnes has already performed with Tim Barry (AVAIL), Ben Nichols (LUCERO), Laura Jane Grace (AGAINST ME), Frank Turner, and others.

HIs debut album TIME HAS COME is a versatile Americana album with a gripping, mostly dark atmosphere and an impressive musical spectrum.
Barnes manages to bring together and stylishly merge diverse influences such as folk, indie rock, gospel, rockabilly, pop, and country. Stomping chaingang beats alternate with swinging or rocking up-tempo numbers, in between there are melancholic ballads and also two instrumental pieces, which hint at Barnes' penchant for film music and sound collages.
The lyrics revolve around themes such as: escape, stagnation, revenge, loss, and biblical apocalyptic scenarios. Digger Barnes has created a hall of mirrors in which he unleashes his demons. The stories of shady characters, loners, losers, broken beauties, and confused preachers develop their own life through their rotation, doubling, and distortion, and so with Digger Barnes, one never knows exactly where the own biography ends and the fiction begins
The artwork of the album has been designed by Barnes' partner-in-crime Pencil Quincy, who has significantly contributed to the trademark "Digger Barnes" with his images.
