The songs reinterpreted on The Pronoia Sessions reach back to the 2004 album The Curse ('Right Side of the Bed') and the 2006 album A Death-Grip On Yesterday ('Ex's & Oh's', 'The Theft'). Two of their biggest hits, 'Warrior' and 'Save Us,' have been reworked from Baptize (2021). Additionally, there are new versions of 'Gone' and 'Drowning' from their latest release, The Beautiful Dark of Life (2023).

In addition to their own songs, ATREYU delivers dark versions of the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers classic 'Mary Jane’s Last Dance' and the  Audioslave ballad 'Like a Stone".
