Review in Ox Fanzine from back in the day:
"There couldn’t possibly be a starker contrast than between the burning hearts, happy-happy punkers MILLENCOLIN and their labelmates BREACH. As with their previous releases, BREACH once again deliver the soundtrack to endless polar nights — a murderous rendering of bottomless depression.
Where bands like EARTH CRISIS and other New School chumps veered off into heavy metal junkyard territory, BREACH stayed on track, pushing forward their fusion of hardcore, death metal, and progressive dark rock à la NEUROSIS with unwavering focus.
The comparison to Neurosis is especially fitting here — these Swedes effortlessly conjure up a similarly bleak and melancholic wall of sound. And despite all the screaming and sonic mayhem, BREACH never sound forced or contrived, something that can’t be said for many of their peers. Brilliant!"
