Good old Jon Snodgrass spends most of the year on dusty highways and in sweaty bars. He has often been on tour with Joey Cape.
In between, he records an album and invites people like Chris Wollard (among others, Hot Water Music), Stephen Egerton (among others, Descendents), Brandon Carlisle (Teenage Bottlerocket), & Addison Burns (Chris Wollard and the Ship Thieves) to join him. The result is beautiful up-tempo anthems and (semi-)acoustic pieces, which primarily thrive on Jon's great and warm voice.

The Rolling Stone magazine placed the singer/songwriter Cory Branan from Southhaven, Mississippi, in the same league as Conor Oberst and Ryan Adams. Quite rightly, because Branan's voice reigns over a wonderful, often scrappy guitar play and spreads a great sense of well-being.
