With their fourth album, the California-based outfit led by vocalist Alexia Roditis delivers quite the surprise! Funeral Soundtrack #4 blends influences from (Grrrl-)punk, indie rock, grunge, and goth elements — and does so at an unexpectedly high level.

Varied yet cohesive, the 11 tracks recall bands like 24/7 Diva Heaven or Mannequin Pussy (whose Missy Dabice features here, alongside Scowl’s Kat Moss), and shine with a punchy, razor-sharp production courtesy of Carlos De La Garza (Bad Religion, Paramore, The Linda Lindas).

Alexia’s outstanding vocals and the killer deathrock-style guitar work give Destroy Boys a strong and unmistakably unique edge.
