As the title and artwork suggest, "Heut ist ein guter Tag" is a decidedly positive and cheerful album. This comes as no surprise if you're familiar with the band, but in 2023 it should be explicitly understood as an alternative to the "current overall shit", according to the promo letter.
Fortunately, the Westphalians don't have to pretend musically. That's why the 14 new songs (plus intro) can be recommended without reservation to all fans of the band and anyone who can relate to alternative music. Energetic, melodic and rousing, just as you know them.
