Five years ago, the last album of Feine Sahne Fischfilet was released, with which the group from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania first made it to the top 3 in the charts and subsequently achieved what is commonly referred to as the "big breakthrough."

This was unusual for a band that was founded in 2004 by a few school friends in the province, primarily to make things happen in their immediate environment, not to complain and wait for others to do something for them, but to straighten themselves out in every respect, personally, politically, and otherwise. In the following years, they were constantly on tour, first in the youth centers of their home region, then across various clubs and autonomous centers in the country, and eventually became regulars at the most important festivals in the German-speaking area. Even at their own concerts, the halls and open-air venues continued to grow. Feine Sahne Fischfilet embraced their listeners when things got precarious. And it was always precarious. Everything was there: disillusionment, revelry, fun, agitation, reason, riot, and excess. And because the band also repeatedly got involved and clashed politically, trouble is still a constant and often a permanent state. Nazis, AfD, and local and regional right-wing extremists of all stripes repeatedly put obstacles in the band's way. "Alles auf Rausch" (Everything on a Binge) was the name of one of the concert tours during this phase, and that's exactly how Feine Sahne Fischfilet was on the road until they said goodbye to a longer break at the end of 2019.
Sometimes they flew, sometimes they fell hard on their faces. But after every binge, the hangover follows... All this madness, all these ambivalences, all the good and all the bad days are the subject of the songs on their new album "Alles glänzt" (Everything Shines), great songs between emotion and toughness.
