Final Effort hail from Leipzig. With Appetite, the four-piece now present their vinyl debut — a wonderfully urgent album that grips you with its furious lyrics and complex song structures like few records have in a long time.

Their sound blends old-school and new-school elements, incorporates screamo influences, comes across as raw yet melodic, and is deeply infused with a highly likeable DIY attitude. While bands such as Gallows, Comeback Kid, Hope Conspiracy, or Unsane may occasionally spring to mind, Final Effort have unapologetically carved out a space of their own. In this lane, massive hooks collide with fragile song constructions, carried by communal shouts and repeatedly torn down by ferocious outbursts.
