 Freiburg's songs are angry and loud. The guitars are cutting but also melodic, never too tame! The lyrics depict everyday life, not too cryptic, not academic, but definitely not shallow.

The recordings were made with Tiger Kadavar, beautifully broken, stumbling, and spatially analog, as it should be for this kind of music.
With their album "Aufbruch," Freiburg is getting close to the throne. Like all epigones, they will certainly have to face accusations of plagiarism, but unlike many others, they stand up to it"Aufbruch" is perhaps the TURBOSTAAT album that one would have wished for after Flamingo.
