‘JOY RIDE’ was originally released in 1984, Washington D.C.’s Government Issue has shared the stage with some of the most influential punk and hardcore band to have ever existed; Minor Threat, Void, Bad Brains, Misfits, Scream and so many more. And rightly so, G.I. was and STILL IS widely respected as one of the “founding fathers” of the early D.C. scene.
