Social karate, rage-jutsu, elbow love. Three words that define the four walls within which KOLARI try to carve their songs barehanded from the ADHD-granite of this world. Desperation? Guaranteed! Ants in their pants? Definitely! Cliché? Nah, miss us with that, mate. Songs born of necessity, to give sound to misunderstanding. Guitars as weapons against paralysis, drum blizzards to teach old ghosts to fear again, and the stage as the last enclave of freedom.
So what is this band trying to tell you?
They want to tell you that 4/4 beats are basically Diet Coke, that loud is the new beautiful, and the world out there seriously deserves a punch in the neck.
They want to tell you that everything can be okay—because you are okay.
They want to tell you that melody is the new roundhouse kick.
And they want to tell you that anyone can be invisible—as long as no one’s looking.
KOLARI make post-hardcore for silver lining seekers, metal for drunken ideas, and indie for angry captains.
Any other questions?
