Mike Ness heard Lovebreakers' first album "Primary Colours" and asked the band if they would open for Social Distortion on their EU/UK tour in 2022. He heard something that resembled Social Distortion, something that wasn't straightforward, shrill, unmelodic punk rock nonsense, but he heard melody and craftsmanship in the songs. He could hear that the music was well thought out and had an undertone of Americana that mixed nicely with punk rock. This craftsmanship continued in the band's second record, 'Wonder'.
Recorded in London with Thomas Mitchener (Frank Carter) and mixed by two-time Grammy winner Chris Dugan (Green Day, Iggy Pop). Wonder was written during the pandemic but exudes positivity and shows real growth in the band's songwriting abilities. Power pop, anthemic indie rock, Americana, spaghetti western, and garage punk can be heard on 12 songs.
