Reissue of MANTAR's early studio live sessions. "We recorded the session just two weeks after the release of DEATH BY BURNING on Svart Records. The band was brand new back then, and some people doubted our ability to capture the thick sound of the album in a live atmosphere. In response to that, and driven by the fact that we had never played a tour at that point, we figured we'd better prove them wrong and play the songs 'live in the studio.' So, we invited a few friends, got some beer, set up our equipment, and started playing. You can hear the result here. We've selected the best eight songs from the session and pressed them onto vinyl. It's pretty cool, as the songs have a slightly different vibe than the studio recordings and should particularly appeal to those who enjoy MANTAR live the most. Enjoy!"
