It has been five years since NO°RD from Münster and Dortmund last made headlines with an album. Even back then, things didn't look good for the world we live in, and even back then, they sang about loneliness, class struggle, and the depths of masculinity.

And now? "Böse Wetter" (Evil Weather): a toxic atmosphere everywhere, the bitter end approaching, but still in the mood for punk - it's that simple. So, they went back into the studio, this time bigger and more professional: At Heavy Kranich just around the corner, NO°RD enlisted the production services of the DONOTS team, including Phil Meyer-Wien, Guido Knollmann, and Jan-Dirk "Purgen" Poggemann, and meticulously worked on sounds, effects, and the songs themselves until they finally received a fitting form.

Because NO°RD has not only grown older but also matured in composition: Without denying their roots or losing an ounce of bitterness, they reach out towards pop and now allow the world's misery to shine in a brighter light than before; because what you want to abolish, you must be able to recognize.
