The album tells of the pitfalls of growing up, the seemingly endless battles with oneself, and the really tough times one sometimes has to go through to eventually see light at the end of the tunnel. But no matter how difficult the journey may seem at times, 'Growing Pains' has the clear message that in the end, somehow everything will be alright. Musically, listeners are treated to the band's trademark guitar sounds and vocal harmonies in a consistently high-quality cocktail.
