The sixth studio album of the Düsseldorf Wave-Punks!
The ten new songs clearly continue the trend that has been emerging since the 2015 album "Meteoriten Der Großen Idee": the journey moves from guitar-dominated, darkly off-kilter and dense Rachut-style punk towards wave, garage, indie, and NDW minimalism. Jonny Bauer (vocals), Bauer Jonny (guitar), and Akki (bass) not only consistently accompany themselves with a drum machine but also frequently use synth riffs and textures that push through the stoic rhythmic salvos, the booming-gnarly bass, and the stark and hungry guitar textures. Surreal and dark, Jonny Bauer's lyrics complement the overall varied songs in terms of tempo and style. "Ra Ta Ta Ta Ta" is a high-quality work with the unmistakable Oiro vibe, once again recorded by Gregor Hennig at Studio Nord Bremen and produced by Peta Devlin.
