Peaceville
Creators, pioneers and trailblazers of the entire gothic doom metal scene that rose to prominence through them in the early '90s, Brits Paradise Lost rose from humble roots in the north of England to become the leading bands of the metal genre in the United Kingdom and remain highly revered to this day after a career that spans more than three decades. The band's first two albums were released on Peaceville, the influential 1990 debut "Lost Paradise" followed by the more atmospheric 1991 genre classic "Gothic"
The "Gothic" EP was originally released in 1994 and combined the tracks from the 1990 'In Dub' two-track 12" release with alternate studio remixes of the "Gothic" studio album. The two tracks previously featured on the studio debut were extensively remixed and rearranged in the form of "Rotting Misery (Doom Dub)" and "Breeding Fear (Demolition Dub)"
