PARALLAX SMILE hails from Groningen, Netherlands, and was founded in 2019. The band consists of familiar faces who have been active in the Dutch DIY punk/hardcore scene for decades, having played in bands like MAKILADORAS, SUFFERING QUOTA, MUSHROOM ATTACK, FLEAS AND LICE, SYSTEM BASTARD, among others. In 2021, they released a 7-song demo on Bandcamp, and since the recordings were too good to be purely digital, they are now finally available on vinyl. Musically, the band delivers a sound heavily influenced by 80s UK anarcho-punk, with a New Wave/Post-Punk touch.
