"All Killer, No Filler
Looking at the album as a whole, it’s striking how Everywhere, Everything maintains a consistently high level of quality. As is well known, albums often get padded toward the end with average or supposedly experimental tracks — but that’s not the case with Polar. Of course, a song like “Deliverance” may take a bit more time to unfold. However, those who give it a chance will be rewarded, especially by the compelling contrast between verse and chorus. And even though “Baptism of Fire” comes across as the typical closing track that doesn’t immediately stick, it still showcases many good — and above all, creative — elements. As tough as the last three years have been for the band, the guys haven’t lost their touch. And having plenty of time to write songs clearly turned out to be a stroke of luck in this case — a blessing in disguise, so to speak."
