However, fans of Billy Talent, Good Riddance, or Rise Against will also be fully satisfied. Shellycoat is a live band, as they have impressively demonstrated in their over 13-year career and more than 300 concerts, and this is evident on this record. The songs are eager to be presented to an ecstatic live audience. However, Shellycoat can also strike quieter notes, such as in “Harbour Scene,” which is reminiscent of 1990s guitar radio pop without sounding clichéd or cheesy.
