SINSAENUM • S/T • 10"

The media has already defined Sinsaenum as "The Death Metal Supergroup". Only a few hours after the surprising announcement on May 20, more than 300 music websites had already picked up and spread the news. It is indeed difficult not to call this band a supergroup - this becomes clear with just one look at the line up.

This joint venture of Fred Leclercq of Dragonforce (the bass virtuoso of the British band uses his great skills in Sinsaenum as a guitarist) and Joey Jordison (the former Slipknot drummer who recently announced his band VIMIC). As Leclercq notes, it was Jordison who contributed the band's name, although the French DragonForce bassist had been brooding on the project for 10 years.

The other band members are of no less importance and credibility: the vocal duties are shared by Attila Csihar (Mayhem) and Sean Zatorsky (Dååth and Chimaira). The line up is completed by Heimoth (Seth) on bass and Stephane Buriez (Loudblast), who is probably one of the most respected musicians in France.
