In 2025, Strung Out celebrate two major milestones: their 35th anniversary as a band and the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking album Exile in Oblivion. Widely regarded as an essential punk/hardcore classic, the album has been newly remixed and remastered for this special occasion.

To mark the anniversary, the band completed a previously unfinished track from the original recording sessions—“Glass Houses”—with the help of Kyle Black and Rob Ramos.

Exile in Oblivion showcases Strung Out’s signature fusion of melodic punk, hardcore, and metal elements—now sounding better than ever. While earlier albums hinted at the band’s technical prowess, Exile in Oblivion stands out for its disciplined guitar work and rapid-fire drumming, always in service of the song’s core.
